We are very proud of our extensive product list. We source all of our British products as locally to us as possible, through our tried and tested suppliers, to support local farmers and minimise food miles as much as we can. We stock Free-range, Red Tractor approved and farm assured meat, along with organic products approved by the Soil Association for the Food for Life Awards.
We have a wealth of fully approved & audited suppliers with whom we have built trusted relationships over many years. These relationships ensure our suppliers will only select the finest products for us so we can guarantee full provenance and complete traceability on all our meat and poultry products, giving you complete peace of mind.
Beef
All our beef is from the UK, it is Farm Assured and mostly Red Tractor and carefully selected from farms across UK counties, rearing to the highest standards. We also have our premium range beef called Cattleman’s Choice.
Cattleman’s Choice ABP
Cattleman’s Choice beef is selected from traditional beef breeds which are processed at ABP Shrewsbury situated in the heart of Shropshire, England.
- 100% British Beef
- Cattleman’s Choice beef is produced only from prime steers and heifers.
- The majority of our cattle is selected locally within a 50 mile radius of ABP Shrewsbury.
- Confirmation and fat score are paramount. Only cattle grading U and R, with a fat score between 3 and 4 make the grade for Cattleman’s Choice.
- Cattleman’s Choice beef receives low voltage stimulation and is hip hung on the bone allowing the muscle fibres to relax, making the meat even more tender.
- The next stage is sympathetic chilling ensuring a slow chill for maximum tenderness and is matured to develop flavour and texture for an ideal eating experience.
We supply Organic and Halal beef products too.
Pork
Our pork products are sourced mainly from the UK and are Free-Range and Red Tractor approved. We also offer pork from EU farms.
Chicken
Our whole chickens are Red Tractor approved and sourced from farms in Shropshire to ensure we maintain our high level of consistency and quality. We also offer a range of European chicken products to cater for all budgets. We have Free-Range and Organic products approved by the Soil Association for the Food for Life Awards.
Lamb
Red Tractor approved and AHDB Lamb is sourced from farms in Kent, Sussex and surrounding counties. We also stock New Zealand lamb and certified Halal lamb.
Gammon & Bacon
Gammon is always in stock and is either EU or Red Tractor approved.
We only stock good quality bacon offering an appetising thick rasher. Red Tractor bacon is available too on request – we cover all budgets with our bacon products.
Handmade
Sausages | Meatballs | Burgers
We make all our own sausages, burgers & meatballs here on site, produced to exact recipes. All our pork sausages are made using Red Tractor UK pork. Our famous ‘Lingfield Sausages’ are made with assured British pork to our own secret recipe. This has been designed to make sure it is below the FSA guidelines for salt content and MSG free. They feature regularly with customers achieving the Soil Association - Food for Life Awards.
Our other hugely popular alternatives, include our fantastic CMB own recipe Cumberland, Pork & Apple, “Cor Blimey” Chilli, Pork & Leek, and Pork, Venison & Cranberry.
We also make Lamb & Mint, Beef and Chicken & Herb sausages using Red Tractor assured meat. These recipes are available with certified Halal meat too – they are very popular with our schools.
Cooked meats
We offer an extensive range of cooked and cured meats, some directly sourced from continental producers. All come from approved suppliers with full product specifications and allergens declared on the packaging. We supply traditional honey roast ham and haggis together with more continental inspired favourites such as chorizo, salami, bresaola and paté.

UK & Red Tractor– Farm assured UK beef is sourced from Surrey Farm in Guildford and carefully selected farms from the ABP group across UK counties rearing to equal standards.

Sussex venison is by far our biggest seller, however we supply much more than that.

Venison
This lean, game meat has a deep colour and rich flavour. It comes as a haunch (bone in or out), loin eye, diced, minced or as steaks.
Guinea Fowl
Guinea fowl resembles chicken in many ways, but the meat is leaner, somewhat darker and more flavourful.
Partridge
This meat has a lovely delicate, subtle taste.
Pheasant
Pheasant meat is generally darker than chicken meat, and is lean and flavourful.
Grouse
This is a rich meat with a gamey flavour. The breast of young grouse is tender, with a mild gamey taste. The legs and the rest of the bird have a more pronounced gamey flavour.
Wood Pigeon
This is a deep, gamey and tender meat. Due to the diversity of its wild diet (seeds, acorns, buds, berries, green crops) it has a complex earthy, woodland taste.
Goose
Goose meat is packed with flavour, with rich, dark, densely-textured meat.
